Today's rambling: Curiouser and curiouser...

This whole sickness thing keeps getting more and more confusing/interesting for me.

My original thought was that I'd gotten food poisoning from the Mexican restaurant. Then I was like, "No, it took so long to happen, it had to have just been a random bug I caught." But then I found out that all but like 3 or 4 people from our party got sick. I think at least one guy is STILL sick (thank goodness I somehow recovered quickly). So my thoughts went back to 'food poisoning.' But the whole delayed thing still gave me doubts...

Anyway, I happened to see Mike today as I was leaving class. We were chatting, and I happened to mention how freakin' ill I was on Friday and Saturday. His eyes went wide, and I think his reaction was basically "You too??" With a few variances, we had the EXACT SAME symptoms. He's a very open sort of guy and has no problems talking about the gross stuff, so yeah, we definitely had the same problems going on. And he ate at that restaurant the same night I did. I remember seeing him there, because we were both like, "What the hell?! What are the odds of THIS happening!!!" His table was pretty much right outside the room we had reserved.

So we were sitting at dinner tonight trying to figure out if maybe it was something we consumed that got us sick. We had it narrowed down to the water, but then I was talking to a couple of girls who didn't get sick, and they'd been drinking the water there as well. Therefore, in conclusion, I can only assume that it had to have been one of the servers who transferred this bug to us. I don't know if it was via food or just through the air, but I'm still NEVER returning to that place again.

And I'm still thinking that the Health Department ought to be called...I wish I could call up all the people that ate there that night and find out if they'd gotten sick as well! But oh well.

I'm STILL not fully back yet. Right now my stomach feels slightly rebellious, and I've been sweaty all day as though my fever just broke or something. Granted, it was in the upper 50's today, but I don't usually feel clammy like that. I just hope there's nothing worse lingering, because the last thing I need to find out is that I actually contracted some type of disease. *laughs* I know, worst-case scenario.

I have to get my laundry done now. I was going to do it on Friday night after I got home from the Monologues, but obviously I was in no fit shape to try it!
