Today's rambling: My night out

The current mood of Berry at www.imood.com

It wasn't 'til sometime after 9:30 when Kirsten and Bekka (I still don't know how to spell her nickname, so I'll just stick with 'Bekka') showed up. They'd gotten lost, hehe...So much for Geoff's directions! ;)

Anyway, despite the fact that he hadn't shown up after all (though hey, I already knew that he wouldn't), my mood perked up considerably after they arrived. We left the house a little before 11 and arrived at TGIFridays a few minutes after 11. But they're open 'til 1 am on Saturdays, hehe...

It was really fun, though! We talked about work, various aspects of it that we couldn't stand, and then just laughed a lot. Mom had thought they were going to spend the night, so she kept trying to persuade them to, but Bekka had to get back home because Nina was having guys over or something like that. Kirsten's next Sunday off isn't for another 3 weeks, and I found myself all disappointed that I wouldn't get to go out and have fun for another 3 weeks...But Mom thinks we'll get them up here again before that, hehe...I emailed Geoff and told him he HAD to come up next time.

Speaking of that...Apparently, Kirsten had tried to get him to come up with her and Bekka tonight, but he said he had to go back to the store and put in the dairy order (he'd told me on the computer tonight that he'd forgotten to go back last night and do it). I commented, "Well, I'm glad to know I'm not the only one he turns down!" Kirsten informed me that she's tried to get him to go places numerous times, and he keeps making excuses or whatever. So it's not just me! Do you know how relieving that is? I don't have to sit here worrying, "Did he just say no because he didn't want to be around me??" *heaves a great sigh of relief*

She said just the other night she'd tried to get him to go to Johnny's with a few other people, and he refused. If I'd heard about him actually going, I would've gotten so jealous. *giggles* I'm possessive over him, y'see. ;) No, actually, if we were going out then he could go wherever the heck he wanted because I'd know he was "mine" (so to speak). It's just now, while I'm trying so hard to win him over, that I get freaked out if he goes out with other women. ;) I still sound pathetic...

This Internet chatting could actually turn out to be a good thing. (Kirsten had his email addy ages before me though, grr...ha ha...) Maybe he'll start being more open. I got Kirsten's and Bekka's screen names, too. Bekka says she's online all the time, hehe...She actually wasn't bad to be around tonight. She acted almost like she was shy, but Mom says that's just an act. I don't know, it seemed genuine enough to me. But I don't know the girl very well, either. I was thinking that maybe she just acts like the Hooker Extraordinaire at work because she's comfortable with everyone there and feels more confident of herself. Whatever!

It'll be sort of fun to talk to more people, hehe...Though now those two, at least, know of my pet peeve when it comes to chatting like 'how r u i saw you at the mall last nite but i didnt want 2 say n e thing cause u were with a guy'. Hehe...Wonder if that'll make either of them hesitant to talk to me? ;)

I've made a new category on my Buddy List: "Work". Just because I don't want their screen name to pop up and think, "Wait, who IS that and why did I stick them on my list?"

Alright, I've gone on long enough. Jam's awaitin' for me to MUD with her tonight, and I feel guilty for not having done so even after I told her we would! I didn't know about Kirsten showing up tonight! Actually, I hadn't even intended to go out with them, hehe...But I'm glad I did, because it put me in a better mood!

I could probably consider myself 21, since it's only another couple of months, but oh well, I'm still technically 20! Hehe...Wow, if I was Bill Gates, I could be founding a monopolizing, crap-quality computer program business! WHEEEEE!!!!!

Anyway, that's it. It's after 5 am and I need to go to bed. Why does it not feel this late???
